How Much Does a Skipper Course and Boating License Cost? Price Guide

One of the first questions anyone considering a boating license asks is "how much does it cost?". The cost has two parts: the course price (the training) and the official fees of the Shipping Authority. Here is a transparent breakdown.

Course prices at Posidon (from)

• Jet-ski license (Mashit 11) — from ₪600.
• Boat license Level A (Mashit 12) — from ₪800.
• Skipper course (Mashit 30) — from ₪5,000.
• ISSA international license — from ₪8,000 (includes international training).

Official fees (Shipping Authority)

On top of the course price you pay state fees: a theory-exam fee (about ₪203) and a practical-exam fee (about ₪341). Each additional practical exam beyond the first carries an extra fee. The amounts are updated from time to time by the Shipping Authority.

What does the price include?
