Our Story
Over 40 years of love for the sea — the first sailing school in Israel

Posidon Sailing School was founded in 1985 by Shlomo Asban — a merchant-navy officer, a navy man, and the first founder of a sailing school in Israel.
From the moment you join us — you're connected to the sea. We're your point of contact for anything you choose at sea: from courses for every sailing license, to yacht parties, team-building days, romantic cruises, marine insurance and sailing consultancy.
Our main specialty is getting you through sailing courses quickly and efficiently — from a jet-ski license, fast boat Level A and Level B, a skipper course up to 24 m, a GMDSS course and first aid — and any other sailing license you can think of. The school is located at the "Blue Marina" in Ashdod, and an instructor can be sent for groups of more than 5 people.
