A mariner's license is an official document permitting you to operate a vessel in Israel. At Posidon — Israel's veteran school since 1985 — we accompany you from the first lesson to the exam, with personal guidance at Blue Marina Ashdod.

By law, a person may not operate a small vessel or be responsible for its machinery unless they hold a valid, appropriate mariner's license, and the operation complies with the conditions and limitations on the license. We're here to make the process simple, fast and safe.

12classMotorboat Level A — coastal sailing, up to 110 KW (about 150 hp).
13classMotorboat Level B — over 150 hp and over 8.5 m.
20classPaid passenger boat — coastal sailing.
21classSailboat — coastal sailing at sports clubs and maritime schools.
30classShip — coastal sailing (yacht up to 24 m).
40classPaid passenger ship — up to 55 passengers, coastal sailing.
50classTugboat — coastal sailing, up to 370 KW (about 500 hp).
