Welcome to the Posidon website — the sailing school. These terms govern the use of the site and the engagement regarding courses and services. Use of the site and/or registration for a course constitutes acceptance of these terms.

1. Registration & payment

• Registration for a course is arranged with the school and includes providing accurate and up-to-date details.
• A place in the course is secured after completing payment or the deposit, as agreed.
• The prices shown on the site are "starting from" and do not include the official fees of the Shipping Authority (theory and practical exams), unless otherwise stated.

2. Course framework

The school accompanies the student from registration to the exam, and includes theoretical and practical instruction according to the license type. The number of lessons and training sessions is set as needed until the license is obtained, subject to the student's attendance and cooperation.

3. Scheduling, postponement & cancellation

• Lesson and training times are scheduled in advance; cancellation or postponement must be made a reasonable time in advance and by arrangement.
• Failure to attend without prior notice may be counted as a used lesson.
• The cancellation and refund policy will be determined in accordance with the Consumer Protection Law and its regulations and with the circumstances of the cancellation. For full details, please contact us.

4. Medical fitness & safety

• Obtaining a boating license is conditional on a medical examination ("the blue form") and on meeting the Shipping Authority's requirements.
• The student must follow the instructor's directions and the safety rules at sea. The school may stop an activity for safety reasons.

5. Exams & fees

The official exams (theory and practical) and their fees are handled with the Shipping and Ports Authority. The school assists with preparation and coordination but is not responsible for exam results or for changes to procedures and fees by the Authority.

6. Liability & its limitation

The school does its utmost to provide a professional, quality service. Use of the site and services is at the user's responsibility. Subject to any law, the school shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damage arising from use of the site or participation in activity, beyond the price actually paid.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the site — texts, images, videos, study materials and design — is the property of the school or the rights holders, and may not be copied, distributed or used commercially without written permission.

8. Privacy

The use of personal information is subject to our Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy .

9. Changes to the terms

The school may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page and will be binding from the date of its publication. Last updated: June 2026.

10. Governing law & jurisdiction
